Initializing the FTM - non I-Drive
Today, I switched-out my Dunlop M3 snows for the OEM runflats. Afterwards, the red FTM warning light went on. Not having I-Drive, I read the manual how to initiialize the FTM. But, after following the steps to initialize the FTM (start car, push up on inner button on turn signal lever, go to "FTM," press and hold the check control button on the end of the turn signal lever for 5 seconds), it failed to re-initialize and the red FTM warning is still there. Any suggestions other than taking it to the dealer? TIA.

Did you drive the car after going through those steps? It has to be driven to complete initialization. Did you only try it once? Sometimes you may need to do it a couple times for it to work. Did you check your tire pressures? Maybe one is low.
I keep my snows and runflats (same sizes, same wheels) at the same pressure and I haven't had to reinitialize when switching. I switch mine back and forth depending on the weather forecast, preferring to drive on performance tires during extended dry weather.
