M2 LCI & BM3 stg2 93

Ok group,

M2 LCI running the BM3 stg 2 93 map with FMIC and MPE. I did my first log pulls this morning, two in 4th to redline and one in 5th to redline. Ambient was 60 deg and octane should be in the 94-95 range. Car ran great and felt like the power curve was progressively smooth all the way up. No sputtering, surging, in your face boost or any weird things I have been used to running the piggyback.

I asked Halim to review my logs for health and he gave it . Once I do a few more adaption pulls I am going to get on the rollers and see what kind of power curve and numbers it has.

Also finally got the iPhone working right with the agent device, iPhones are such a pain in the ass sometimes blocking shit and wanting full control. Nothing on PTF end...just my phone and absolute lack of Tech knowledge.

All I can say is I am super impressed with this platform so far and looking forward to moving to the next mod...Downpipe. The car feels like it had been awaken.

Thanks Dzenan & Halim for all the hard work and development...... and also for being open to all the communities ideas and requests.

Once i get some time on the rollers I will post results

Also thanks to the forum crew...tehboost for the bazillion massages we shot back and forth about the BM3 platform, to Fsociety & SeanWRT for answering so many tune questions. You guys were a big help in pushing me off the piggyback fencepost.

As I recall, last time someone posted a BM3 OTS dyno was on V3 (Dec 2017 release). Improvement was made thru recent revisions, so your results would be very informative.

Good luck mate! Don't forget do a stock flash baseline run. And log all your runs. Very valuable data.

I'm sure you have written it somewhere m2ruder, but I can't find it...what IC are you running? Also what DP did you get (cat less?). Last question for you BM3 users...is there a BM3 tune/map that would take advantage of a larger turbo at his point or does it only stack other mods (IC, DP, intake, exhaust)? New to this stuff...so that's why all the questions.

General BM3 tune does not aid anything with turbo change. You can do some twicks with changing inlet and hardpipe to aid the spool to the OE turbo.
Either you can choose Dinan or custom OTS map like SeanWRT did if you wish to change to bigger turbo. I believe his format is based on WinOLS (if I am recalling correctly).

You will need FMIC/ DP/ exhaust (MPE will do just a job for stage 2). I believe intake will not be play a huge role. But it gives you great sound that is for sure lol.

OK. Good to know. I already have DP, MPE and intake is on the way (if it ever gets here!)...so seems like I only need an IC. Wagner EVO II seems to be the one that gets the most love (IATs, ease of install, etc.) Where is the best place to buy one?

This is god damn strong...On 93OCT, even a little stronger than tehboost 400whp 91OCT custom map.
1. Log again. Include HPFP actual, and pull to 7k please.
2. IAT is your enemy. Hate to say your IC seems not able to keep up.
3. Repeat - you don't need DP. Told you already, many times. Log says exactly that. I'm the only one to point out this one.

Damn...how can OTS map be that strong!

As soon as the IOS app is back up and running I will log again. Just 4th gear if I am trying to go to 7k. Gets a little fast for the local highway

As for the IC are you saying I wasted my money buying the VRSF? It has to be way better than stock at least right?

Yeah man, it's better than stock probs...but you can't go wrong with a Wagner unit or CSF! I have Wagner, I probably would've gotten CSF if it was out last year (didn't even know they were making one).

Just do 3rd gear pulls, that's what I do...2k-7k RPM! It'd be the perfect comparison.

And SeanWRT it's crazy you're the only one who's recommended 300 cell or no downpipe and it looks like you're right. How bout them EGT's tho?
