Front jack point F32
I know this has been covered before but I really can't find the front jack point as all of the underside at the front is covered in a fabric (sort of) cover.
Is it underneath this by any chance? F32 2015 430d |

P.S. I believe you tried to post a picture but it didn't work. Last edited by M2Rush; 04-03-2018 at 05:35 PM.. |

I've had another look and I can't see anything apart from this square flap which is rearwards of the front axle line. It all looks to be a big fabric underside and nowhere can I see anything that resembles a front centre jack point. I may be being really stupid...? Please see pic attached is the jack point under the flap? If it is I will need an ultra long trolley jack

It's that circular part right in the center of the picture, just in front of where that yellow mark is. Basically centered on axle just before the flap you're referring to.

Zoom in and you'll see the flap location for reference. Best to find and use a piece of rubber or even wooden block if your jack surface isn't rubber.

Thanks mate I've got a hockey puck that I use. So I have to be brave basically and jack it up just in front of the flap where it's flat, without seeing what I'm actually touching! Thanks for your help I think I know which bit your on about. Just need a long enough jack now

There should be a hole in the front underside shield. This hole should mark where the center of the axle carrier bar is and directly centered to the right and left are your front wheels. This is where you want to jack.

No, the corner lift points are the rectangle plastic things near the edge of the car.

Thought maybe this could help, this is for a 2 series, but the 4 is probably the same and the undertray(link below) looks similar. I would recommend taking the undertray off and making a clear mark on the bottom(visible) side of the tray showing where it meets the subframe(jack point) which should be that hole in the raised circular area in front of the flap.
