EDC suspension
HI. i have a 2013 335i EBII with the EDC M sport suspension.
i bought the car used with 40k miles and it now has 63k. i am now getting a rattle while driving. at any speeds but is mostly noticeable while driving at low speeds over any imperfection. i have the replaced the sway bar links and bushings as the rattle is really noticeable and you can feel in it in the floor. but the rattle is still there. i am now thinking is the left driver strut as i mostly feel in my side. i can feel it and hear it there. i want to replace the strut but they are going for right around 500 each. so just replacing the front pair is going to cost me right around 1000 for the struts on their own. i can replace them myself. before i pull the trigger. i want to know if you guys think that there might be some else causing this rattle. again i can feel it through the floor and pedals on the driver side. what do you guys think or recommend |

Difficult for tell - unfortunately. There is no substitute for proper diagnostics. If the dealer is an expensive option, is there a reputable Indy shop in your area?

Not sure if a worn damper would rattle, i'd get a mechanic check the 3 attachment links of the damper first:
Trailing arm, control arm and damper rod attachment to strut hat: all should be bolted to specs torque.
