service engine soon P119A

any one ever get code P119A I searched an can't fined anything on it. something about air flow sensor on the code reader or maybe air fuel I'll go check again. and this just started after removing riss racing o2 sim and DP. I figure(and hope) I just mixed up a connection but I don't know where to start looking

double check your work with the wiring harness...specifically the wires you removed...this is the most likely problem

I got this code after I removed my DP's and simms also. Pops up randomly and goes off too. My wires are lined up fine, pretty sure i blew the O2's.

i would double check before buying the sensors

make sure the wiring is right.

if thats ok try cleaning the carbon off the sensors...use contact cleaner or something

if all else fails...check the code for which sensor it is..

if youre brave youll take it to the dealer and act stupid about it and try under warranty

Fuel air metering is the pre cat O2's, the post cat get a little play on the value but not much. BMW is gonna be your best source to fix it, but it sounds like a blown sensor, I dont think BMW has the codes labeled front and rear bank either.

so anyone have any idea how I could figure this one out without going to the dealer? I was thinking the A on the end of the code might refer to witch sensor it is seeing most codes do not have a letter in them.

and the car runs perfect I would think if it was one of the primary o2 sensors the car might run rough or have reduced power.

is there a book or a list of codes somewhere that might give me more info on this code?
