M Performance Steering Wheel + JB4

Is anyone here running the M Performance Steering Wheel(LED's) with JB4? I've heard many things but no one can give me a straight answer. Even contacted BMS and asked and they said it should be fine. I'm just wondering if anyone here ACTUALLY has the combo -

I also asked BMS about the compatibility, Terry said that they don't, it may cause the JB4 to sample slower.

So I felt confident enough to try and I just bought one used (V2). I will install in the next week or two. I will let you know after how it goes.

My car is a 2010 E90 with JB4 & BEF.

There is a number of people that I've found that are running it and they say that they have no problems with confidence. Let me know how it goes! I also picked up a V2! I will be doing the install maybe next week or so.

My install might take longer because the deal I got was the non-paddle version and I do need them. So I have to retrofit them on this V2 non paddle...looks like the dremel will be handy!

I'll keep you updated

I have finally installed the steering V2. I did not had to code anything on the car, on the first power up, everything worked perfectly.

I was wondering if with the JB4 gauge hijack the oil temperature and fuel display would work when the JB4 is in either map0 or other maps; it does work perfectly in any maps.

I do drag races with the car so I push really hard and the JB4 is quite solicited and I can report that so far, the steering V2 and the JB4 are compatible together!

Frequently, in max load conditions, my steering wheel rpm gets bugged and freezes. Shift lights do not work in relation to rpm when this happens and turn on every time I press the clutch pedal. At first, I thought it was a power issue so I rerouted steering wheel power to the fuse box instead of the CAS, but this did not work.

Just wondering if the CAN signals are affected with steering wheel + jb4?
