Rep Points change?

Not that its important but i noticed my points jumped WAY up. I quickly learned that all of our points got boosted by a factor of 1.5. Why this is, I don't know. Anyone know the story?

seems like somebody pushed the wrong button... a few days ago it was higher and then it came back down..
