161's good to go
Just picked up a nearly new set of 161 rims 17 :rocks: " with Pirelli Eufori RFs...225/45 front and 255/40 rear. Monster difference from the stock 205/55 16's. Don't know what the fuss is about with 18's and 19's. The 17 inch sport rims are good to go.

I have oem 16" wheels on e91. My last car an e46 I fitted 18 rims to it and it was nice, but too much feedback through the wheel for my liking. I was thinking about going to 17" with my e91 320d, but the guy I get wheels and stuff through said "I wont supply you 17" rims you will regret it everyone is fitting 18 and 19" rims these days".
I was looking at 162 replicas the other day 18" They look really cool, but still not sure. Any advice welcome |

Sorry it has taken so long to reply...been out of town. There is a great picture on the E90 forum pics link of a sparkling graphite 3 series with 161s. They look awesome. Point is the bigger the rim diameter, the more prone the wheel is to getting bent. Newton's law of "when you hit a bump, something's gotta give" or something like that. Seriously, these wheels are the right balance of performance, size and looks I was looking for. I am delighted. Best of luck!
