Creaking/Cracking Sound from Drivers Seat

The drivers seat in my car tends to make alot of creaking/cracking sounds when you get in the car after its been heating up in the hot sun....anybody else get this? Doesn't happen when its cold out, oddly.

I notice a good amount of creaking/cracking noises from the back of the car when its been heating up in the sun too.

U need your whole seat channel assembly replaced, mine used to do that and took it to the dealer. Replaced under warranty.

+1, it's complex, there are creaks within the side air bag area and the entire backing piece not to mention the console that houses the seat controls, that thing squeaks like a whore's bed. My dealer noted the noise for my next service to have them ripped out. I'm guessing they just pad the noise with felt or some other kind of automotive squeak/creak reducer.

I had some creaks that came from the bottom seat rubbing the plastic mold that surrounds it. It kind of worked itself out over time.

I went to the gym, lost some weight and the cracking noise stopped.....true story.
