Thumbs up F31 328i Dinan P1 Power Package (Stage 3) Dyno Results!

Ignore Run #2, it was in eco mode I think.

Info:
-N20 8AT xDrive. 37k miles.
-Dinan P1 Power Package (Stage 3 Dinantronics, Dual core IC, axle back)
-Mustang AWD 500 dyno (linked) These typically read a good bit lower than DynoJet.
-22% drivetrain loss. Both Dinan and the Dyno operator suggested 22%. I'm sure this % can be debated.

Dinan claims: 324hp 331tq (flywheel)

Baseline: (Bypass mode/stock tune, Dinan dual core IC, axle back)
219whp
255wtq

Dinan P1: (Stage 3 Dinantronics, dual core IC, axle back)
263whp
298wtq

Peak Gains:
44whp
43wtq

The car is honestly perfect now. Throttle response, power delivery, shifting - flawless.

Once the weather breaks I will run it down the 1/4 and try to get some low-mid 13s. I'm around stock 340i power levels which is perfect for my daily!

Looks good but a few things

1. the power falls off very steep after 5500rpm
is it stock turbo? which would make sense.

2. the whp you are getting is on the low end of a 335 dyno. 335 gets anywhere between 265-275 whp.

a stock 340i however will get 305-320 whp. (I'm sceptible of BMS dyno,331whp, as it has supporting mods and is not bone stock. A fact which they are not clearly stating)

nonetheless pretty good numbers.

Stock turbo. That drop off seems typical for the N20. This is my daily so it's quick enough but a modest turbo upgrade addresses the higher RPM range.

I don't expect it to be 1:1 against the stock 6cyl but it's close enough for me I looked around and couldn't find stock auto/xDrive 335i or 340i Mustang 500 dyno sheets so I'm estimating a bit. I did see some 6MT/RWD DynoJet numbers which are always higher than my config. Also, it's hard to compare dyno numbers as there are too many factors in play. The delta is a bit better than what Dinan advertises.

I've seen stock auto/xDrive F3x 6cyl cars run low 13s and I think I can get close. I do know N20 trap speed will be much lower...

The trap speed will tell you everything about the car's power. If you get 103 -106mph trap speed then indeed your whp is spot on with a 335i.
