Auto lowering audio volume

Hi all,

as you say for me is my first BMW.
In my old A6 4G, when i put the reverse gear and the PDC sensor are activated, the audio volume of media are automatically decresed for better experience of PDC volume.

In BMW insted the volume remain at the setting preimposted.

There is a way?

Thanks

It clearly says relative to active audio source. Which is what you've been asking.

The top setting (Speed Volume) would adjust the media volume as speed increases, as you suggest.

The second (PDC) would adjust the volume of PDC relative to the active audio source - i.e. if you are listening to audio at a volume of 75%, you can ensure the PDC sounds are a little bit higher or a lot higher. I think Almaretto is right and this is what you are looking for. Perhaps it doesn't lower the audio source volume, rather it raises the PDC volume.

I presume 'Gong' refers to the generic warning sound and this setting would allow you to adjust the volume of the gong relative to the audio volume.
