N63/S63 reliability?
Anyone have thoughts on this?
About 4 years ago I lemon'ed my F10 550i with various "Fuel System Malfunction" issues that were unfixable by the dealer within the mandated window. Later, I learn this is pretty prevalent with this engine. My local dealer even said he thought this was one of the worst engines BMW had made in recent times & actively recommended against it. He said the M5 engine was "different" but Wikipedia tells me it's a derivative. I'm curious if these were just teething issues & have been resolved now, or if there are just fundamental design issues. Regardless, I'd be leasing... but being without a car for weeks and weeks wasn't that great. |

Fuel System Malfunction = it means that the fuel is different quality. I have had same problemen when travelled from country to country.
