Question 245/35 and 275/30 19's - M3 offset

All, I've read in previous posts about this tire size and No Rubbing. But I'm about to purchase some new wheels and want to 'measure twice, cut once'. I'm looking to ask people who have experience running this setup to say either A) No Problem, go for it or B) Be careful, might be some rubbing. Let's assume 4 grown adults in the car.

My plan is to order the Velocity Motoring VB3's - will this setup work well with No Rubbing?

330i w/Sports Package
19x8.5 front, 40mm offset, 245/35 tire
19x9.5 rear, 22mm offset, 275/30 tire.

I don't have any plans to change out the Stock Sports Suspension, BUT may consider something to lower slightly if the gap is not perfect.

Follow up questions: If your answer is A, how much lower can I go without rubbing concerns?

If your answer is B, I'm assuming from all previous posts that a 235/35 front and 265/30 rear will be ok with the M3 offset as indicated above.

Thanks all. Great to have this Post Board for reasearch.

you should check out this thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14643 these came off an m3 with about the same offset. he said he test fitted them with 275 30 19 tire on the rear and they work fine. he even have the eibach pro kit on.

Long, that's helpful, but not conclusive. I re-read this and actually it said on the test fit, there could be some rubbing, depending on the size of bumps. But again, that's with the Eibach setup, not ZSP.

I'm trying to be specific on the setup to ensure everything works perfect.

Hey snowman I have the eibach and Maya set up. As i have posted, it rubs on the rear driver side on big dips and uneven pavements even just me alone, what more with passengers?
I assume that on a ZSP suspension, everything will be fine, as long as yo dont have anyone sitting on the rear.

NaturalBoy has 245/35 and 275/30 on his 20" wheels, yes...20" without rubbing. His new wheels diameter was ~ 1.5" larger than the stock. While yours are only .45" - .60" larger than the stock, I'd say there'll no rubbing based on Natureboy's experiences.

A) Go For it, no rubbing issues. ZSP w/19x8.5 and 9.5's, M3 offset w/245/35 and 275/30's.

HRC, you're having a tough time waiting for wheels? Dude, both the wheels and my new 330i will arrive about the same time - late April. At least 6 weeks away. Wheels are on backorder w/**********s.

I'll plan on posting pics and getting NorCal folks together for another ride then. I've got a great route planned already. Scenic & twisty.

Cheers

Yea, I'm having slightly more of a tough time than usual, yes! Can you tell?

6 weeks? That's cool, not too long. I actually ordered back in December '05, around x-mas time and hope to get them in about a month. So I take it back, I may get mine before yours!
