Do you use auto-hold?

How do you guys/gals like the auto-hold feature? I keep switching between on and off - it gets on my way when maneuvering in tight spaces, but can’t dent it’s handy for traffic jams. However, I feel uneasy about it since the slightest touch on the gas pedal gets the car going. Opinions?

I had a moment in an automatic car wash the other day. They had to stop the line as I was a bit disorientated and forgot I had engaged it.
I think it's just another thing to master.

I am happy with it in normal conditions. However with ice and snow, I find that I have to give it more gas than I would like to start off so I have it turned off until spring

I like Mercedes' implementation of auto hold better, where it engaged only when you push the brake pedal all the way down. There are some times where I'm inching forward and the brake hold engages so I have to constantly disable and re-enable it.

I agree, Mercedes' way is much much better.
There is no button to press, and you can activate it anytime with the brake pedal, which you are stepping on anyways, so no extra step to do. And I only want to autohold during prolonged stopping and not at each stop!

I didn't know that's how it worked on Mercedes. Nice.

Even my old C63 had it, and it worked well. So simple to use.

I know there is a dashboard reminder that it’s on, but it would be nice to see a red dot in the HUD too. That is my only objection to driving around with it on.
