Steering Clunk

my 13 335i has had a noticeable "clunk/click" when turning the wheel either to left or right from the neutral position while stationary. Only other time I notice it is when backing out of the driveway and turning while crossing the transition to the road. From tracing the sound in the engine bay, it is not coming from the lower Universal on the lower joint assembly, but further up that I can not see. I'm suspecting possibly the upper universal on the Joint assembly toward the steering wheel.

Anyone else dealt with this issue and any suggestions,

Thanks
