How does locking in rates work on production car?

It looks like my car should actually be delivered in March. What happens if the MF goes up or the residual goes down once the March numbers come out? Will I still be given the January numbers that were in place when I authorized the build and put down the down payment (the numbers did not change in February)?

I thought that the rates are only good for 2 months?

For MJR24, I understand that the rates expire at the month’s end of two months from the time that you ordered your car. So if you ordered in January, the rates will be good until the end of March.

My dealer said what I locked in the end of December, especially for the deals and rebates is good for March. In particular I put a car on order at the time, so that may be a factor.
