I like. I have been meaning to do this, but too busy. Can you get some bigger pictures, and maybe write up a DYI. Did you manage to get the stereo LCD screen aswell?

Yeah i did change the one for the LCD, i'll post a pic of it after I get off of work. Going to change it back tho, doesnt look good due to the LCD itself, the LCD has a filter inside of it that is bright orange in color, think i might try and remove it and see what it looks like.

zzE85zz, I think it looks fantastic! I must admit I am more intrigued by the process than the results! (Heck, I'm just a diy engineering nerd) I imagine you changed a LOT of surface mount leds. I don't have a flat tong solder iron at the moment but I might get one pending this info. Ballsy and fantastic man, I eagerly look forward to a DIY!
Now to be unique, I think I might go blue with mine. White is officially taken, hehe. |

lol, as with the smt it was 150+, as soon as I am done with the DIY it'll post ASAP.
I will posy all the recom' materials to use, the best iron to use is "Cold Heat" that way you won't burn the led or better yet the board/circuit itself. -Tune ps gotta get back to work. BBL |

Is it me or that Data Screen on the last picture looks kind of turquoise?

Just a little update on DIY. Almost done with pics, could've saved time if I took pics when I did em to begin with, so only down to the last thing to take out for pics, instru cluster. Sorry for the delay folks.
