that e46 looks great... i have an 08 335xi monetgo blue, i am goin to get gold wheels and go carbon fiber hood and trunk.. i just wanted to get an idea of what it looked like first... but there dont appear to be too many with that combo... i guess thats good i will be the first

i think it would look great. Will definitely stand out. I had a thread up about crimson red with gold/bronze rims but nobody posted any chops up lol. Both would look great with those rims imo.

m3 is the only car that can pull off any color. such as that mustard green.

you have a 335i. gold rims with blue makes it looks like a japenese car.

then what about gold and white, see people do it here a lot and thats typically JDM.

Gold rims are not JDM. Back in the day gold 3pc BBS RS were all the rage in the 80's. The Euro's such Koenig Specials, DP, Strosek had pretty flamboyant body kit designs as well. People would put this prized rims on everything from VWs to Porsches. It also is the reason why mesh design is so popular among BMW enthusiasts now. It continues the line of this great rim. As LM and CSL rims are copied now, back in the day this was probably the most counterfeited rim made.

alright then I was wrong on the JDM part, I get your point, still wht you said backs up the other point im tryign to get across and that is gold rims on any color including blue on a BMW shouldn't be labeled as "looking too japanese". As long as it looks good, it looks good and that in the end is a personal taste.
