Lady hit my car trying to park - Front Bumper Options for an E91(E90)
I have a 2008 E91 328i manual wagon fully loaded with sports and premium. It's the dark gray color.
A lady attempting to park her Lexus clipped my wagon as it sat parked and innocent. So the car is now at Wagon Work and going to get a new front bumper. I wanted to get the OEM M-Aero front bumper that looks like an M front bumper (more open, no horizontal slats) but my local BMW dealership is telling me they won't sell it without the complete kit. Any thoughts? I supposed I could just buy the OEM normal bumper and the CF splitters and have then stuck on and painted body color, but I really liked the M Aero front bumper. I'm ready to order today if there are options. I'm pretty sure the wagon has the exact same bumper as the sedan. Cheers! |

go for the m-tech bumper if you can... it looks better. if not you could always go with the oem normal bumper and CF splitters like you said.

I like the M-Tech bumper for E90. Sorry to hear about your accident - my E92 got rear-ended on Thursday, so I feel your pain, even if it's just minor damage.

Where were you parked?
I hate taking my car out anywhere in the city. Mostly drive it to work and grocery stores in VA. I try taking the Metro as much as possible. |

Can anyone confirm that this is the only part # I need for the front M-Aero bumper for an E91?
51 11 8 046 010 The guy at Circle BMW wasn't 100% sure I wouldn't need anything else. If someone can confirm that would be great. I've tried searching to no avail. |

This is the complete kit - call either Evan or Jason at Tischer BMW to confirm part numbers, they're really good people to work with. |

+1 Get the full kit from Tischer. They are in MD, so they are very close to DC. Heck, they can even hook you up with the whole kit painted and installed. Just get a quote for the repair / replacement at a BMW certified shop, send it to the insurance company and have them cut you a check for the repairs
