Linea Corse Lemans Hyperblack. updated pics!!! red caps, lowered more, no reflectors
Well, I was going to wait for a proper photoshoot and set the drop on my coilovers before posting these pics.
But I couldn't resist. Took a few pics this morning by my house. Drove up to my house yesterday and found two boxes staring at me. I didn't even make it into the house. Tore up the boxes and jacked up the car and went to town. It was like christmas morning. Took off my CSL reps and put on my hyperblack lemans. My orange reflectors!!!!!!!......I know. Replacements are in the mail from **********s. Should be here by next week. Zoeb from wheeldude was great. Incredible customer service. I'm sure I tested his patience with the barrage of messages regarding the look and fitment of the wheels. 10" rear with 275s et37 is my setup I love the way it looks. Though I want to drop it a bit more in the rear, which proved to be a mystery to me. I couldn't figure out how. For the life of me, I couldn't find the adjustment screw thing. My thought is that my guy probably installed it incorrectly. Blame him!! If anyone has pics of how it should look and where to adjust, I'd really appreciate it. Enjoy the pics. I'll post some more once I finalize the drop in the rear and take some better ones. Last edited by DMD; 06-22-2008 at 09:20 PM.. Reason: updated pics |

Look great and like this wheel alot but I think i preferred your car with the CSL rep's... the contrast in color with the Sparkling Graphite and the fact they look so much bigger than the Linea Corse just appealed more to me personally!

Though I loved my CSL setup, I had some issue that came along with the look. The aggressive offset (et23) on the rear had a lot to do with how good they looked. The contrast of the silver wheels with the car was also nice. But I wanted to try a bit of a stealthy look with the hyperblack lemans. I also had lots of issues with rubbing with the CSLs in that offset. It was slight rubbing, but I couldn't get rid of it, even after rolling fenders. I also didn't want to go nuts with my camber. Then I decided it was time for alittle change. Since I had wondered about the tone on tone look, and liked the lemans wheels, I figured, what the heck, I'll give it a shot. I liked the way they turned out very much. They are aggressive looking, although they don't have an aggressive offset. I will be dropping the rear a bit more though. All in all, I am very pleased. Surely in another several months I'll be on something new. I've got the VS8s on my mind for a while now. Cheers. |
