Put my name down. It would be good to get some pics. for posterity and I'll offer to do a historically accurate write up of the day that everyone else can read. Ok.

I'll come on the 22nd but can't make the 29th. Are we going to look at the mercs and do some driving on the skid pan and track area?

Are you hitching a lift to Goodwood this weekend?

Yes you can pay to go on the skidpan and track if you want. The museum is cool too - AMG's, classics and the SLR

Can't make Goodwood this weekend, have a good time and post up some pics!

We're only a small Island aren't we. I'm going abroad soon as I've some business to sort out, so will have to see how the old finances are (fuel usage mainly!). Traffic is only a real problem down there as well isn't it. Must be shite TBH alot of the time. I've been out this evening on country roads and the roads were empty - bliss!

Been before to Brooklands actually in the old biking days.

Straight down the M1 for about 2 to 2.5 hrs then 30 mins round the M25 on a good run at the weekend. Brooklands is 5 mins from the M25. The merc bit is interesting to walk around and you can have a spin in one if you want. I think from memory its about £40 to £150 depending on what you do.

Maybe.... if the date slips into July though I'll be in the Irish Sea.

Does this mean you have a timeline on getting mobile Paul?

Breaking news... Fandango has cut his holiday short and can now make Sunday 29th June.

So that's:

booforty
HotCoupe
beemerbird
Serjames
Fandango

...can make the 29th June.

Unless we slip into early July? That way we can ALL make it?!! I would be happy to put first Sunday in July in the diary?

It's the Brooklands Motorcar Festival on that day I'm sure so I'd love to come along

Any Northerns up for a Convoy?

Might have to see if my mum will let me do a long trip in a proper Classic Car fit for Brooklands OR ...

I imagine I'll be in the MX as my E30 is currently under two offers, both of significantly more than I paid so is worth getting rid (now it has been fixed) and I'm after either a Caterham / TVR Wedge / MGB V8 / Porsche 944 turbo the Caterham is in front at the mo! Be ordering my E90 arround the 30th June, quite excited about that as well

So if ya don't mind Maxxie tagging along I'm up for Brooklands!
