Nilfisk Offer

If anyone is thinking about a pressure washer, there is a decent Amazon offer on at moment.

It's the previous model to the 2018 version.

Really good offer thanks for posting this, I'm very tempted to replace my Karcher with one of these beasts!

Bought one of these last week, not tried it yet but looks good & feels solid, much better build than the yellow plastic thing that I used to have.

Hope they weekends good for a play!

I bought the E145 just before Christmas. Only used it twice so far but very good! Loads of pressure.

What's everyone's opinion on these?

I've got a small Karcher that's probably 14 years old, bought originally for jet washing a patio, if I replace the Karcher it's main use will be washing the car, but I'd still want to use it for patio cleaning etc.

I have a small vax one - close to 10 years old and cost me £30😂😂 but its annoying to have to assemble each time.

Really tempted by this... if i can somehow convince the wife i need it!

Do i need the auto nossle to clean the car?

mines was the "patio" model and came with 2 x nozzles. One has a little metal insert that randomly rotates and this can strip paint off wood - its vicious. the other has some sort of flow rate adjustment on it and at its minimum it is fine for cars (you can hold our hand in from of it).

I dont have the car nozzle, but it looks different and smaller than the ones the washer comes with

I’m a little torn between the one the op posted and this one:

https://www.cleanstore.co.uk/product...t.asp?ID=14187

£10 more, less pressure (130 vs 140) but has a higher flow rate somehow.... also a newer model and comes with the powergrip (non powergrip is £10 less)

Also the auto nozzle seems to get great reviews.... Amazon is too expensive though (£13) compared to £7 on cleanstore or even argos (saves postage!)

The car nozzle is great. It gives a wide fam of lower pressure. You could probably put you hand in the flow without issue whereas with other nuzzles you strip skin!

I also got the angles adapter and you can W rinse the underside of the car.

The OP one had a better hose that won’t get all twisted up.
You also want pressure, not flow with these things.

So got to use this properly for the first time today... really easy to use... after 2 hours use just needed to finish off the wifes car and the hose has a slight split

Doesnt look like its replaceable on the this model either.

So will have to send it back to Amazon.

Hasnt put me off though as looks like the model up (e145) has a superflex steel hose so should be better..... saves me having to return the extra nozzles i got too!

To revive a old thread.....but bought this on offer back in Jan. Just used it today and the lance is pouring water out everywhere at 6 months old. On taking it apart for a closer look it appears that the black plastic inside has a hairline crack. At 6 months old not very happy and it looks a pain to claim on warranty too. Just waiting to see what they'll come back and say tomorrow.

Complain to amazon. Get a replacement from them. It's clearly a defect as they are cracking bits of kit... cracking... hairline..

If you go via amazon chat you should be sorted quickly.

There are (at least) two design faults on the Nilfisk.
1. The reel handle is all plastic. If the unit falls over on to that handle, the handle breaks.
2. The water inlet pipe is plastic and held in place with a metal U shape pin. If the inlet chain (hose, joints etc) have no give or relief in them, for example if you use brass hose fitments, the water pressure can have enough pressure when the lance is shut off to break that joint. It should be screw in or metal.
