chrome 162's..cost? any so cal places that can do it?

how much would it be to chrome some 162 wheels? also any places in so cal that could do it? thanks

I'm sure there are places that could chrome the 162 but I read somewhere that it cost 2K+ (I'm not too sure though)

But I personally wouldn't recommend getting chrome for BMW. I don't think it suits BMW well and I'm sure many will agree

Chrome on a BMW is NOT the way to go... It just doesn't suit the class of the car. Chrome looks great on Hummer's and big trucks, but not luxury sports sedans.

If you want some 162's that look a little different, have them powdercoated - especially if you have a silver car. You could go with the gumetal grey finish. It would look very good. Powdercoating costs about $500 for a set of rims. There are numerous colors available - grey, black, white, red, etc. I saw a set of M3 rims in the Gunmetal Grey finish, they looked amazing.

they are friendly but they sell crappy scratched up rims for big bucks. i've been there and seen their stuff.


since you are in cali, you can get powder coating done for about 50 bucks a wheel.
