Whays usual discount on 2018 m2?

I am in middle of ordering or picking one up in the lot for 2018 m2.
Whats usual discount can you expect? Assuming pdi&freight cost at $2500 and admin fee of $500

The one nearby my home has one in their lot and it seems to be $1000-1500 from SA mouth.

Another question, i am a memeber of bmw club of Canada and can I expect cash rebates for buying new 2018 m2?

Any answers are greatly appreciated!

Thanks

J

Depends on the options. I would say it would be cheaper to buy an in-stock car out east right now. If you own a BMW I think you might get $1k off but really it depends on your negotiating skills and who you know. Some of the dealers in Toronto charge more on the PDI and Freight - These are bullshit fees IMHO. You should not be paying anything - what other product charges these? They can discount them if they choose.

I was just about to sign the paper this coming Monday. However, I decided to try other cars intead. Only if I didnt have my e92 m3, m2 is probably the only car I would have chosen at this pricing point but my m3 stays and yet they are very different car but they share the many similarities. I know I will drive m2 more than m3 if I did but I will hold on the purchasing m2. Who knows what, I just want something different.

Current line up cars are....
981 boxster or cayman
F type S

Anti thesft/Wheel lock 500
Pdi&freight fee 2500

I was offered $2000 discount and free rubber mat, but I am not desperate for m2 yet. I am enjoying shopping cars at the moment

Discounts can be had for sure right now given that the MY19 will be a different car.
Margin is in the 9% area on these cars, so you should be able to knock 5-6% off MSRP. (i.e. $3,500 on $70,000), especially if the car is already on the lot.

Is that the BMW winter tire package that retails for $2700? What discount did you get on that 15%? Thinking that those Michelin performance winter tire are the way to go...but it may cause you not to be able to drive after a heavy storm.

Wanted to talk about the private sales most dealers are having right now.
Endras dealer is offering $3900 off the M2, and the SA said there is more wiggle room so make me an offer. This is along with the 1.9% financing.

I didnt know M cars come with that low finance rates. quite surprising

Is this a good time to buy one? Are these "private sales" actually significant or just a typical sales ploy.

Congrats! That’s a nice discount. I was debating about driving an hour to check out the “private sale” at performance bmw...I guess it wasn’t just another sales ploy to get people into the showroom. What was the msrp? Endras has the m2 with all the m-performance goodies for over 91k!
