Under the hood faint sound

Hi guys - wondering if anyone knows what the noise is. Is it intermittent and I can only hear it once in a while when I step out of the car. The fan inside the car is off here.

Not that hard to replace yourself if you are out of warranty.

You are so awesome bdiddyb, thank you so much. My car is 1 year out of warranty so I'm guessing dealer won't help.

Also - I noticed in that post you linked me to, someone mentioned that "BMW has released a Technical Service Bulletin – SIB 64 01 14 for Heating and Air-conditioning for the 335i / 435i with N55 engine." Is that bulletin for the same thing??

No, that bulletin SIB 64 01 14 is for the "whiny" noise that emanates from the a/c vent. U fix it by attaching a 2 lbs weight to the a/c hose.
