325d Efficient Dynamics?
I have my eye on an E93 325d, built in 2010 with the N57 engine. The spec. includes "S1CDA Brake Energy Regeneration". Is this the "full-monty" Efficient Dynamics package, or just some kind of "halfway-house"?
TIA, Stuart.

I can confirm they LCI 325d's have no stop start etc so whatever is included will be a halfway house job I think it's safe to say, I have no clue however what 'eco' tec they include but can say they that they are a very economical motor with plenty of pulling power.

pretty sure thats something to do with the alternator only kicking in when needed at certain times so as not to rob power and efficiency.... may be wrong.
i saw it in my spec list on mine and googled it |

heres the blurb
BMW’s Brake Energy Regeneration system is a system that only charges the battery when the car is coasting, braking, or decelerating. During acceleration and whenever possible during other driving the alternator is decoupled from the drivetrain, leading to better fuel economy and improved performance. Conventional alternators charge your battery whenever the engine is running and the engine’s serpentine belt is turning. The BMW Brake Energy Regeneration system charges the battery at times when the kinetic energy would otherwise be wasted (usually converted into heat by the brakes), increasing fuel efficiency by up to 3%. |
