235i Time Won't Tick Forward
Hello everyone! First post as a proud owner of a 2015 235i!
As I was driving it home from the dealer last night, I noticed that the time was wrong, both in the iDrive display and in the center of the instrument cluster. I thought hmm, okay simple enough, just re-set it. After doing that, and setting it to 'set time automatically,' the time does get set, however it never advances. For example, if the time I told it to set time automatically was 7:30pm, then the car will display 7:30pm forever, or until I reset it again. This stands true even when setting the time manually. What gives?? Love the car, just baffled that this is an issue in this day and age. Any help is appreciated!! |

The expensive option: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=467
but seriously, hope they can sort it out w/o a major R&R on the ecu. |

Haha, you know, I wouldn’t mind this option if there wasn’t a CEL associated. I’m getting P15FD, and P15FB, which both pertain to engine shutoff time after shutdown, and during operation; with a reference to the instrument cluster. I’m guessing it’s all related. I have a similar post in the tuning section about this issue.
