Whos interested in muffler eliminators

Hey guys, i have a 2007 z4 m roadster the lack of aftermarket parts is absurd and the prices are outrageous.

I had a friend fab me up some muffler eliminators. which were extremly easy to install , look stock, and sound a hell of a lot better, but still honestly not that loud... (Quieter than a f430 with tubi's

Im just gauging interest. I can get them designed so that you just unbolt your stock mufflers , and bolt on the eliminators which have stock sized tips.

considering
less than 2 hours install
looks stock
Nothing hacked or cut
can be returned to stock as easy
stainless steal
saves 20 pounds per side

Would you be interesed for sub 500 including shipping ?? If there is interest im gonna post up some pics and videos of my setup and start taking deposits on an initial run of 10.

Without the mufflers, you're not street legal anymore right?

I understand the tips cost money but otherwise you're just talking about some pipes and flanges. So maybe if you were talking sub $250.

Ok guys heres an update, it sounds completely awesome, very exotic, how the car should of sounded!!! Its bit loud and boomy, Besides that i cant rave enough about how it sounds. Im going to get a sound clip up tommorow afternoon, Its definately livable , I daily drive my m.

As for the contruction of it, i still have some research to do , On my set, i used a set of tips that i had bought one off from someone at a swapmeet. I need to find a place where i can get tips in quantity that look as close to stock as possible,

Legality wise, Since this is Post catlytic convertor This does not affect any emmisions equipment, or exhaust emissions there of, This will not cause a check engine light or any malfunction. THe only thing it affects is the noise level, which you may or may not be an issue depending on locality.

Im saying around $500, but in actuallity it may be less, But I will not skimp out on quality, Everything is going to be stainless steel, I have a great fab guy whos worked on, some serious cars, so quality will be top notch, ITs gonna Fit perfect, and if theres anough interest, i will do a complete Install on video for for diyers...

$500 for a pipe and tips is really expensive.

Im contacting a couple of wholesale suppliers, i think i found somewhere where i get everything , all from the same supllier.

I know the price seems high, but its just an estimate, And unfortunately for such low volume, I cant really get the production outsourced,

You have to figure, this is going to be completely stainless steal, Tig Welded, Mandrell Bends, USA BUILT.

Im gonna get prices within the next few days, I hopefully can do this for alot cheaper than 500.

Once i get home from work ill get some sounds clips up...

Yeah...sounds like a lot of simple pipe work...$500 seems a little high. But I can understand that if they aren't making many, the majority of that cost is just labor.

Thank you for making the vid. Big download, maybe you should consider resizing or throwing it onto youtube? Also do you think you can get some pics of the exhaust tips and a video from outside the car?? I may be interested if the price is right.

thanks again

Interested but id like to see what the tips are going to look like. It would be nice if the tips were bigger then stock and double walled to look more like the new M3 shotgun style tips.

oh that does sound good! Thanks!

How does it look, and does it affect performance negatively?

I'd love to shoot a comparison between all the different exhausts with the same camera and microphone. I guess there's not enough of a market for Z4M exhausts to afford to shoot an all out comparison vid.
