Cost of new brake pads

Can anyone tell me how much it'd cost to get new brake pads? I need new pads and I was wondering how much is the cost gap between BMW service and something like Midas

If you are looking for cheap pads that will work decently, Axxis Metalmaster or Ultimate pads are in the range of $30 to $60 per axle and installation is not difficult.

Yeah the dealer quoted me at $800/axle for pads and rotors so I just ordered Axxis stuff (delux advanced pads and slotted rotors) which came to under $200 including shipping. Dealer = bandit

800 bones an axle???? does this include the labor?

Yes including labor but still sounds too steep to me. I don't know what they charge per labor hour!

its close to correct. your talkin atleast 450 bones for parts. and 2.5 to 3.0 hours in labor plus taxes yadda yadda yadda. and its close
