Sat Nav 2008-1

Hi, collected my beemer from dealer last week after having work done & they had left leaflet in cd slot ' Update now available- Version 2008-1'.
Is this only for business nav as ive seen threads for 2008-2 pro nav?

Sat Nav Pro & Sat Nav Business use different DVDs to work, because they use different navigation data.

Navteq produce new disc versions, usually twice each year.

The latest SatNav Business disc is 2008-2. The 2008-2 SatNavPro disc should be available soon.

thankyou for clearing that up for me, my dealer is trying to off load older versions to people like me then!!

Just tell him you'd like the current version, please. If they don't currently have that, then you'll take what they have, but you expect them to provide you with a credit note to the value of the new disc. You might give them the old disc back, if you remember.

If they don't oblige, tell them the whole deal is off.
