SE Michigan: Detailing Get Together

A few of us in the Detroit area got together at my place to do 6 hours of detailing on an E93, E90, and E46 M3. Here are some pictures post the detailing clinic put on by member "tron1043". We had two Flex Random Orbital Polishers on hand too. It was a great day, 77 degrees with blue skies and some BBQ.

The steps:
Apply and remove Zaino Glass Polish on windows
Wash car with Zaino car wash
Dry and then clay bar with lubricant for clay
Wash car again with Zaino car wash
Dry
Apply Menzerna Intensive Polish with Flex random orbital polisher, spread polish on 1 setting and then polish area at setting 4.5 on Flex
Remove, doesn't have to be perfect
Apply Menzerna Micro Polish with Flex random orbital polisher, spread polish on 1 setting and then polish area at setting 4.5 on Flex
Remove, has to be perfect.
Apply Zaino Z-2 PRO Car Polish with micro fiber pad, let it set for half hour or longer
Remove
Apply Zaino Z-8 Grand Finale Spray Seal
Remove
Apply Zaino Z-8 Grand Finale Spray Seal
Remove

Nice job on the details. Red is really popping. Good to see some MI bimmers cause I know they're few and far between.

We were over buy a private school, Cranbrook Academy, that has a very European feel to it. Definitely a great spot for some pictures.
