Anyone in Canada confirmed M-DCT order?

Thanks for the help. I have read a couple of posts about guys saying they expect delivery of their M-DCT cars in June or July, but they seem rather vague.

Can anyone confirm that they have submitted an order, which has been accepted, with a build date for M-DCT?

I am hoping to order ASAP, but will wait until the '09 model if it goes much longer.

Cheers!

They are already in Canada. That is,some of the BMW Group employees are driving around in them already.

BOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo............

I just received this from my service advisor.

Looks like I'll be waiting for an '09 model

Important Notes:

2MK - Double Clutch Transmission & 2MT - 19" Wheels
We have been recently informed by the factory that the worldwide supply restriction for option 2MK - M Double Clutch Transmission & option 2MT - 19"M Double Spoke Alloy Wheels is affecting availability for July production.
As with April and May productions, the factory will assign quotas for these options to each market next week.
Regarding our availability, we may need to delete the options from July M3 orders.
For this reason, please do not promise to customers availability of Double Clutch Transmission (2MK) or 19" Wheels (2MT) on July M3 Coupe/Cabriolet orders until the issue is clarified.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Further information will be communicated next week.

The email from "Distribution" at BMW Canada was dated May 30th. I really don't know about April and May production, and I haven't heard of anyone who has a confirmed build slot with M-DCT yet (in Canada, of course).

I'll be waiting for an '09 model, I think (with the Brembo brakes..... - here's hoping).

I ordered my DCT in March. It will come at the end of June. I am so happy to order it earlier

When I ordered my car, I had a chance to look at the order infromation for each BMW Group in Ontario. Each dealer has only one DCT available in each month.
