X3 M40i ordered

After loads of analysis and a lot of useful advice on here, agreed a price with TRL.

Car comes in March.

Hope people don’t mind if I hang around on this forum when I become a SAV driver!!!!

Gone with gut feeling. Not the first time I’ve ordered a car without driving it.

Be interested in spec and the list price to compare to my SQ5 - I suspect my car will remain very rare now BMW have joined those offering a decent petrol engine in a SAV...

What's the A stand for in SAV?

Hope you enjoy the new car. You're a brave person to order without trying.

I'd be having weird nightmares about it turning up with pink seats or backwards pedals and steering haha.

I am looking forward to the pink seats!

Summary of spec:

Phytonic blue / black interior / adaptive suspension / sun protection and acoustic glass / space saver / folding mirrors / HK / lumbar support / model deletion.

Discounts of 8% available and high GFV are making the monthlies attractive.

Looking forward to seeing pics when you get it - launch material in that colour looks excellent.

How does the deal compare to what was available on the outgoing X3s? I take it the GFV is much higher?

Reviews are good and if you liked how the previous model drove and the lower powered version, then the M40i can only be better.

Thanks. Should be a good car.

Deals seem ok. Over 4 years. £4K down. No extras will cost you circa £560 per month.

Bet you can’t wait.

I’ve just started looking at the X3 as possible replacement for our family car but not found many deals yet. Did you discuss any prices for the lower engined models? If so what should be achievable?

Cheers

They are 5.9% APR I think which doesn't help the monthlies. Realistically you are going to add a few grand in options so that £560 quickly becomes £650.

Feels expensive but it is a nice car for sure and if it works for you then great. Bet you can't wait, I would imagine the X40i will be a rare beast.
