BMWP Diesel Exhaust on Petrol

I’ve spotted a bmwp exhaust on eBay which is local to me and the seller seems quite sure it’ll fit my 325i - advertised to fit e92/93 and he has been honest in the fact it came from a 320d.

What’s the difference between the bmwp back box on the diesel compared with the petrol?

I’ve seen the tail pipes on the diesel seem slightly smaller and I’m guessing acoustics would be different as they have been designed for different flows?

In essence though, would it fit and what would the results be like? I’m more curious than anything as I’ll probably hold out for a part that’s a direct fit.
