Shield for Simota CF CAI

Is there some Shield I can get for my Simota CF CAI to prevent Hydrolock? Is it even possible?

hydro lock usually happens to intakes that go to the wheel well..

my last car sucked up so much after a few turn overs it spit it out i got super lucky. you should not have that problem tho no intakes for bmw looks to be made that way.

wat if incases of going through touchless car wash? can those cause hydrolocks, since the opening of the CF intake is towards the kidney grills if im not mistaken

sure the opening of the front duct is towards the grill but you would have to aim the water upwards through the duct, and i would find that hard to do. i dont think touchless car washes shoot water from the ground up... it usually shoots water downwards or perpendicular to the car side

i dont see how your hydrolocking unless your connections tight enough.

but yeah hydrolocking usually happens with ram airs... my friend had it go through a box near his foglight... worked well until it rained
