Question [SOLVED] Dynamic cruise control - standalone option or standard?

I live near Toronto and thinking of getting a 2015 228xi and purchasing an extended warranty on it.

Do they 2015 and up really come with dynamic cruise control as standard?

On Car and Driver, they said even the 2017 doesn't come with adaptive cruise control but then from my research, it seems BMW distinguishes between the older dynamic cruise control where you can follow a car in front at a set distance and adaptive cruise control, which has stop and go follow.

If not standard, is this a standalone option people pay for when configuring their car? Or can it be part of particular option/package?

Many thanks.

Ok, did a little more digging and it's standard for 2016:

and also for the 2015

Dynamic cruise control (option 544) only combines braking with throttle control, to maintain speed on downhill sections. Active cruise control is required to maintain following distance and vary the speed.
