Old Style JB4 help

So I bought an older style JB4 off a member from here. I am having trouble finding any info on where the posi tap wires go. For reference, I have a 2014 335xi, The previous owner had the same car but a MT - where he tapped into the blue/blue-red wires in the main harness. I tried that and I cannot get the menu to show to change maps in dash. I've also read that there are different wires to splice for auto and MT.

Before anyone tells me to buy the data cable, I have the bluetooth setup on order so I do not think it will do me much use once I figure out where to splice into the canbus.

Any help is greatly appreciated! I've watched so many videos and scrolled through threads and threads of "jb4 installs" and could not find my answer.

posi-taps are long ago obsolete and no longer supported. OBDII is required for the BlueTooth adapter. You'll need to update the JB4 firmware and CANbus to OBDII.
