Hi everyone.

I have a 2008 335i. The original navigation DVD works fine. When I bought the car a few weeks ago, I found a 2012 set of (professional) navigation DVDs in the glove box, sealed in the BMW packaging. East and West, neither of them will work.

Any idea of why this would be? Im currently looking at a 2015 set on Amazon, but given that the 2012 set straight from BMW wont work, I'm .... unsure of I should proceed.

It has been pointed out to me that I used the term "CDs" in the thread title. I meant "DVD"s, and Im putting the DVDs in the DVD slot

also there is and idrive forum here.

Ah, thanks. I didnt think of it being part of the idrive. Im rather new to the idrive. But of course it is.
