Hi all,

The new family car has arrived!!

IR22 Rocket is ready

I placed the order August 5th, and production started november 15th, and delivery date was January 8th all this dates are related to a spanish order.

Hi iroger,

it usually takes 6 weeks.
I placed my order September 30th and production hasn't started yet. My dealer says production will be late November or December and arrive late January (Spain too)

Am being told earliest M40i deliveries for UK will be in January. After loading in USA the ship first docks at Bremerhaven to unload some vehicles/take some more on before calling at other European ports.

Are you not going to wait for the official M Performance offerings before adding vinyl inside?

Thanks for your reply, 6 weeks...

As vinyl can be removed i won't wait, will add M Performace Carbon once it's available (summer time), let's see what BMW Performace develops, untill then its a good alternative.

Looks great, iroger. Yours must be the first M40i in Spain. I am waiting for mine, built on December 21st and hope it arrives by the end of January.

I would think so, haven't seen any yet apart from test cars.
Mine took 8 weeks from 1st day of production till delivery.
I would expect yours to arrive the week of the 5th of February...

As we wait for the exhaust, the regular leds have grown on me more than the adaptive lights , looks more streamlined in my eyes plus your painting of the bottom vents. Looks good!

I have some videos but not convincing on how they came out, I will make a new video this weekend.

I didn’t modify too much the exhaust, just deleted the medium silencer, and it’s a little more noisy in all the modes now.

Popcorn sound is now much more exciting…
