Guys;

So I ordered a brand new M240i in Orange with leather,Nav, LED lights, etc to replace my botched up repaired M235i. I was supposed to take delivery of the vehicle on 11/10/17. The dealer just informed me that my car is held up at port due to a recall that needs to be fixed on the instrumental panel. When I asked for further info they said it specifically affects the dash console and is no big deal.

I googled this and found no mention of the recall. Anyone hear anything about this affecting 2018 model 2-series cars?

Yep that looks like the problem. Glad it's not a physical thing that needs replacing. So the new instrument cluster is digital in 18 models? Is it a TFT display like my Lexus IS350F had? I actually never sat in an 18 model yet.

The new software is at the dealer so I’m sure the vehicle prep center has it, too.
