3M Clear Bra question

Is the 3M full hood for the M3 1 or 2 pieces? From the cut out diagram it looks like 2 peices to cover the entire hood.

thanks

A good installer can do this in one piece. Do not buy 3M clear bra either. Venture Shield is clearly superior.

Venture shield. they are in 1pc.
However, u need to check with them, do they have the large sheet for the whole hood. Sometimes they might need to special order it from the distributor

Thanks, I got a call in to get a quote for venture shield... Hope to find out more tomorrow. I had my car for 1 week and already have 1 tiny nick in the hood.. I'm thinking of just letting it sit the in garage until i can get the shield put on. The place I was going to get my tint done on Friday has 3M paint protection.. but if venture shield is better and 1 peice.. i'll go with them.

What's the difference between Venture Shield and 3m's? I'm looking to get shield to stay away from chips

VentureShield doesn't yellow, the texture of the bra is smoother (e.g. less orange peel look), and you can heat the VS up with a heat gun to remove scratches or swirls.

Thanks for all the info. got an apointment for venture shield in a week. Getting tint done tomorrow then going to leave in the garage until then. Any advice on reflector area? Should I take them off? I was thinking of doing the flush mount but not sure how to do it with the venture.

My venture installer said they won't take off any parts on my car, but if I wanted to it's up to me.

Is it difficult to take off the hood vents, reflectors, front grille and m3 marker on the side? The said they won't make the cuts until I bring the car in, so I can partly modify the cut when I go in. is it worth the hassle to take them off? i was thinking at minimum, take the reflectors off..

thanks

these are all the parts that were taken off my car when my guuys did it:
a) the two vent plastics on the hood
b) kidney grilles
c) reflectors
d) chrome grille on the front side

I didn't take it off, Premeir insisted on taking it off.
