Hi guys. I'm newbie here. Just got the basic CPO 2014 320i for the wife and would like to know a shop in or near Boston to install the backup cam and or remote stater. Prefer less than 1h drive. Thank you

Not too familiar with any Northshore shops besides Hi-End Customs, Malden

Not exactly sure, but I would assume some of them can order the bimmer-tech version or at least you can purchase and they will install.

I bought a 2013 CPO 335i from Herb Chambers BMW in Allston/Brighton. I went to a shop called Sound In Motion because that particular dealership uses them to install aftermarket backup cams so I figured if a dealer uses them then they are reputable.

I had them install a rear and front camera. The rear cam looks OEM. It has all the same features as OEM (backup lines/ projector lines) and there are no additional buttons for both cameras. Completely OEM look. I recommend them.

Just scheduled Boston Audio Design in Quincy to install backup camera + the HD Flex screen for $1450 (labors and Bimmer tech parts - 700 backup cam and 250 for Flex + 500 labors)

How much did they charge for the backup AND front camera? Since I have the M-Sport pkg front bumper that is REALLY low, I need the front camera more than the backup. The pricing will help me decide whether to do both cameras or just go with the front. BTW, where did they install the front camera? On the registration plate, between grills, or what?

Does anyone know if you can get a remote start installed in a 2014 F34.
Dealer says car has complex electronics which is why the factory didn’t do one. But the car didn’t come with a security system either which I found weird for a car that costs $50k. I did buy it used.
