M Performance Exhaust Flap sound difference?
Got the MPE put on my car this week. (M240i xDrive, about 1500 miles on it so far.)
The exhaust is certainly more rumbly and interesting than it was before. It's not as raspy as my 2013 135is was. Using Bimmerlink, I was flipping the flap between open and auto, then revving the engine in the driveway. (It's cold as **** here, so I'm not going to drive around with top down to listen. ) I wasn't hearing much difference if any. Would be interested to hear from MPE owners how much difference they notice between flap in open and in auto. Thanks! |

If not enough noise, get a Dinan midpipe, or delete both resonators.

It will get ~20% louder as it breaks in over the next month or so. It's also louder when the piping and muffler canister are hot and there's more humidity in the air.
