i wanted to ask here cause there seem to be some very informed people on this board....and it might save me a trip to the dealer.

anyways...sometimes after i finish making a call through the bluetooth...the phone wont hang up. the music comes back on, but on the idrive screen the call time just keeps ticking...

does anyone know what could be causing this? thanks a lot

On mine it takes a few seconds for the IDrive to update to say "Call ended". Sometimes I end up pressing the button (on the steering wheel) to hang up again, but that ends up calling the number again because it did hang up but I thought it didn't because of the long update time. When you hang up (by pressing the phone button on the steering wheel) just wait a few seconds (like 5) before assuming the thing didn't hang up.

thanks...but im not taking about 5 seconds...im talking about watching for a minute before i have to turn off the bluetooth power on my phone to disconnect the call
