GA6-L45R Longevity?

My wife recently bought a 2009 328i xDrive with an automatic transmission. The car has about 90,000 miles on it now. I know a lot of different factors (maintenance, use, abuse, luck) determine how long the trans will last. That said, anyone have an encouraging high-mileage-auto transmission story for me? I haven't read about too many problems with them, it seems.

90k isn’t considered high mileage with these transmissions. 100k is technically when it’s supposed to have its first fluid and filter changed. If you follow this there’s little chance you’ll have any issues.
