Need help with my amp please!!

So when it comes to audio I’m very dumb and clueless. I’ve tried to google and still leaves me very confused. So my amp got wet and it blew out! Tried to dry it with no luck. My question is can I replace it with any logic 7 amp or does it have to match my exact numbers? I have the hifi upgraded sound system in the car. I’ve heard I have to have the numbers match then I heard I don’t. Any input would be great! Here’s my numbers 65.12-9 218086-01

Just buy another hifi amp or upgrade to bimmertech amp. There arr some great aftermarket solutions outhere. That number does not have any meaning

So that 65 number doesn’t mean anything at all? I was told by bmw and a few others the amp can only be replaced with an amp that has those same numbers because of the upgraded sound system and everything. So worst case if I buy one with not matching number bmw can reprogram it?

logic 7/harman kardin has speakers also in the rear doors. Hifi does not. If you have logic 7 just replace the amp with another one , your car is already coded

Only a logic 7 amp will work in a logic 7 system.
see the bmwgm5 link for part no's

some people that have gotten used amps have needed coding
to get the amp to work . I think if you stick to the same part no you will be OK.

Yea I have the rear door speakers. So no matter the part number my car will recognize the amp and work then? As long as it’s a logic 7? Thanks for the help
