Suggestions for my X3

Hi all, I am new to this forum.

I recently bought a 2017 X3 w/ M package. I've switched out the grille and added two ///M logos on the sides. I also added in those little door lights that project the BMW logo on the floor at night.

Future plans include lowering it 2", replacing the brake caliper covers with M blue colored covers, Wheel Spacers and possibly some carbon fiber for the interior.

Few questions.

I want to put some spacers on the wheels to get a little more of an aggressive look. Any recommendations? See pictures below. I currently have the stock 20" M wheels which I love the look of.

I was looking at the Eibach Pro Lowering kit but it only lowers it about 1.2" So I am thinking about the H&R Sport Lowering Springs which will give it 2". Anyone with experience with either of these kits? If dropped 2" will I bottom out if I hit bumps? Also I had an eclipse that was slammed to the floor when I was younger. It rode like crap of course but looked beautiful. Will these lowering kits effect the ride of the car?

My only worry is a voided warranty. I would hate to lower it only to have problems when I bring it into the dealership.

Any help or experiences are appreciated!

those //M badges look out of place...
lowering the car wont void your warranty unless an issue develops from those parts

I think I am going to remove the SDrive28i emblems from the door and replace those with //M badges that are a bit bigger then what's on there now. How do you think that would look?

IMO, you should remove the fake M badges from your SAV. Anyone in the know will laugh at you and anyone that doesn't know won't know to care. I think the fact that you are in Miami will amplify the "poser" effect.

Just my opinion. Enjoy your F25.

Just asking because what you said makes sense but technically it is an X3 28i Msport. Does having two small badges make me look like a poser? There are M logos riddled throughout my interior and on my rims. It's not like I have an //M Power emblem on there. Honest question because I don't want to look like a tool.

The small M badges are there as standard on Euro-spec M-Sport F25s but the factory locate them lower than you have done and I can't be sure what size you have used.

Yeah, I've seen that, the emblems I have are the same size as those. Cheers.

Like I said, enthusiasts that are knowledgeable will know that those emblems do not belong on a US spec F25 28i/35i. Doesn't matter if it is "technically" an M-Sport or not. It may just be your pictures, but they look fake. My suggestion would be to either remove them or get OEM EU emblems and put them in the right spot. They look smaller than the ones on your front fenders. Again, it just might be your pictures.

Then get OEM EU LED headlights to remove the orange reflectors.

You have an awesome looking X3. In the end, you should do what makes you happy.

then remove them, your X3 doesnt need those badge. Its nice with wheels you got it with and any other mod you decide to do.

I would love to do this but it's a bit to expensive. Hell I would just like to replace my headlights with the Xenon headlights. I can't stand the orange day time running lights.
