Poll: AW 335 Coupe Tint???

Going to get her tinted
a. 35%
b. 50%

I dont want anything dark (IMO it looks tacky) want something light and classy.
I have saddle interior.

What do you guys think?

35%

I'm leaning towards the 50% as I think it will add just the right amount of shade

I agree 50% tint is a waste of money. I'd go with 20%. I currently have 30% and wish I'd gone darker, wasnt my choice by the way...

anything darker than 20% is tacky to me...35% seems to be the perfect balance to remain classy looking

I disagree with everyone who says 50% is a waste, I think it is definetly noticeable and classy.

jlspped29--- I have 50% all around and no hassle in a year of driving from California cops, pulled over and ticketed for speed 1x but though no mention of tint. I would hate to get a tint fix it ticket. I have pinnacle formula one and it looks good. all side 50. I would do 35 on back if I had it to do over. Cheap

Me too, probably F1 Pinnacle 35%. There's no local dealer around so I'm trying to a roll of film from an authorized dealer and have someone local do it.

that is so classy and mature. when I went to my tinter he was laughing all the way to the bank with kids lined up for 15% and 20% saying "yo make it dark so I can smoke in my car"

Window tint doesn't make a car look tacky unless you put the reflective mirror tint that makes it look like shit. I have dark tints, but I guess it flows with my theme, the "oreo" effect i call it lol!

thats what i'm saying, we want something to cool down the interior a bit and that looks classy. Here in SoCal know the cops will hassle you like crazy.

So what do you guys think then 35% on the rear window and 50% everywhere else???

I like that set up too. I'm getting an AW 328i coupe w/ dakota red leather interior delivered in June and i've been looking into what tint i should get. I feel the same way you do where the lighter the tint the better but not too light

Easier said than done because everyone's pics of 35% OR 50% LOOK TOTALLY DIFFERENT!

Your two pics at the top of this thread are a great example of this because the 35% actually looks lighter than the 50%. Either way i think 50% sides and 35% rear look the best.

how much does the quality/brand effect the look/darkness of the tint?

^^ honestly I cant tell between the brands....Im getting Formula 1 pinnacle for less than 300 installed... I will post pix when I'm done....

anyone else...should I go with 35% on the rear window? that will give it a more uniform look..

it is a personal decision, but since you are asking opinions, I'm not a fan of how different shades of tint look on one car, I would go 35 0r 50 all around, and lean more towards 50%

I'm not a fan either but because if the size and angle of the rear window, going 35% would actually make it look more uniform. Thats what I had to do on my CL......
