Thanks for the pics.

With every slew of pictures, I get more confused as to how the M40i is going to look. Okay, this has the standard sport steering wheel like it has been much talked about, and it looks like it has all the other features of the M40i, but where I'm confused is that there is no M badge above the side faux breathers, and the breathers look like they are wrong colored - the trim should be silver/gray?

Anyway, love any of these new pics that are popping up!

The M badge on the sides is euro spec, I believe. I think non-US gets silver interior buttons as well. This one seems to be one of the first production M40i we have seen posted. We will need to wait for daytime to see better what’s going on in the front and trim coloring but it seems to align with what we know about actual production US spec.

The “silver” buttons are galvanized and a cost option in non US markets.

Yes, I believe so, but there was no window sticker.

Can't figure out how to edit my first post using the phone app to add additional pictures, so here are more from today. Getting ready to go do mountainside drives off, so will likely add some more later.

The trim on the two I've seen looks like a nickel plate color. IMO, looks better than the brushed chrome.

As is becoming increasingly normal for BMW, this vehicle is plastered with ///M logos.

Curious to see how roomy the back seat legroom is and the overall spaciousness of the interior.

Those look like ventilated seats. And it looks like they still have the thigh support extension capability. Can you confirm? This was the source of some debate/concern recently here on the forum.

Yes, ventilated seats and manual thigh support. The seats are definitely more comfortable than the previous generation. More pictures of the seats. Ventilated and not ventilated

More pictures of interior. I found the interior to be comfortable, backseat legroom will accommodate an adult, but not sure for long trips, also depends on front seat position. If the front seats are all the way back, legroom in rear is cut down to about half.

Confirmed with the product specialist here that it does not have a dipstick; electronic only.

Here are a few of the X Line exterior and a couple of other interior details I don't think I've posted yet.

Turn off that tacky "swoosh" light coming off the bottom of the door.

You can. There are also many other options than before for interior lighting colors.
