Track times thus far....
Hey beemer broskis, figured I'd share my track times thus far
16 340 X drive auto Bms intake only stock otherwise 320 awhp 340 awtq. Dynojet DA1870 (Never got to run stock) Bms intake, Active 8 tune, Er downpipe, 93/110 mix=12.05@115.42 DA~1400 (Aftermarket wheels) Ap intake, Jb4 (map 3-5), Er downpipe 93/110 mix=12.10@115.7 DA1730 (513m wheels) AP intake (modified, coated), pure s1 (coated), Jb4 map 7, meth (vp m1 dual cm7s), Er downpipe (coated and wrapped) , ngk 97506 plugs, no muffler, no back seat, E18 in tank, full tank of gas=11.44@118.84 DA 700-1300 We need a flash!!! Had major throttle closures on every pass so I would imagine a good pass could yield 11.2 Fastest pass settings were Fol 70, fua 5, add 30 iat at 93 deg Have slips to back up but unable to upload, also have a sound clip and a few vids. The car is incredibly consistent, my buddy that drives a focus st jumped in and cranked out a 11.7@118.98 (fastest mph of the day) with no launch control, no suspension preload, no stalling or flashing the converter, just mash the go pedal and go. Very impressive!!!!! UPDATE......10.26.17 Ran today again on ms109 and vp m1/x98 mix 11.444@119.34 1.659–60ft IAT 87 11.475@119.33 1.637–60ft IAT 82 11.509@119.18 1.689–60ft IAT 78 11.512@119.14 1.702–60ft IAT 85 (Have slip, unable to attach pic) Fighting closures every pass, again.....quickest passes were on 20add fua 15 After I increased to 30add and 10 fua but it launched so hard it spun all 4 next 3 passes (prepped surface each pass). Pretty violent so I let out. Not breaking shit and towing my car, not worth it. Tires are simply over powered. Proof that jb4-pure-meth works. Next season I plan on light 17s, weight reduction, drag radials, dial in the fuel-tune and hit 11.0 Sure wish we had some track side support Last edited by Roki187; 10-26-2017 at 08:32 PM.. |

Very impressive. And yes, a flash will work wonders for us. I know its said a lot but damn this ECU is all over the place.

Yup, unitronics were testing their beta tune for the TTRS. Nothing done to it except a tune and it ran 11.9@126mph with 93 octane. FBO I would imagine it would go past 130mph easily. Our cars require meth and a billion other things just to trap past 120+ Audi's 5 cylinders are nuts.

I have a feeling we will be seeing 10s out of the 340s soon I have a new plan of attack and a buddy is getting the big boost kit which I think coupled with meth will yield some amazing results |

Nope throttle closures, and I found that flashing the converter works better than dsc launch

With dsc fully off, floor the brake pedal and slowly add the gas=stalling the converter
Same but flooring the gas with the brakes applied makes the converter work over its rpm=flashing it At least that’s my understanding of it Last edited by Roki187; 10-04-2017 at 01:20 PM.. |

And as far as the closures, I had very little to no closures with the AA. More so winter time, during the crisp cold air days. In my opinion the AA is all around a fantastic tune, it hits much harder than the jb4 (on its own without meth) But has it’s limitations |

I don’t think you have much proof of the AA making more power the the jb4, but yes a full bench flash of the ecu and controlling the tcm will work wonders for the Car

At the drag strip I ran a 12.6 @111 mph WITH one can of Torco octane booster. Now keep in mind i have a 335 GT, so the weight of the car with me inside is 4375. Factory weight is 4000. ( and no I'm not 375 lbs, lol I'm 220) Anyway my point is that 12.6 is a full 1.1 seconds faster then stock. AA for the win. |

My xDrive AT 340 ran 12.8, trap speed wasn't working. Mods are jb4 on map 1, burger intake, 5" catted CG downpipe and CG cat back (basically straight piped with valve open) was very tempted to go meth after expecting low 12's

Seems a bit high. Would expect low 12s with that set up
